Accessibility statement
The website “Polcenigo VR – A treasure trove of geodiversity” is designed to be usable by as many people as possible, following WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines.
What we have provided
- Full keyboard navigation, with always-visible focus and a “Skip to main content” link.
- Every geosite can be reached from the map, the text list and the menu: the map is not the only way to find your way.
- Text alternatives for images and controls; consistent heading structure; page language declared.
- Every 360° environment comes with a text sheet and the audio guide, usable without a headset or gyroscope.
- “Accessibility” panel (icon at the top) to enlarge text, increase contrast, highlight links, reduce animations and use a high-legibility font. Choices are remembered by the browser.
- Respect for the system “reduce motion” setting.
Known limitations
- 360° environments are by nature visual experiences: equivalent information is available in the sheets and the audio guide.
- The English audio guide is in preparation.
- The flip-through guide reproduces the printed pages: the same text is available, in accessible form, in the geosite sheets.
Compliance status
This site is partially compliant with the requirements of Annex A to standard UNI EN 301549 and WCAG 2.1 level AA, as required by Law 4/2004 and the AgID Guidelines on the accessibility of IT tools. The non-accessible parts are those listed under “Known limitations”.
Feedback mechanism and contacts
To report difficulties in accessing content, or to request information in an accessible format, write to Divulgando Srl via the website divulgando.eu or contact the Municipality of Polcenigo via its official website polcenigo.org. We will reply within 30 days.
Enforcement procedure
If the reply is unsatisfactory or not received within 30 days, a report can be sent to the Digital Ombudsman at AgID, via form.agid.gov.it.
Drafting of the statement
Dichiarazione redatta nel mese di novembre 2026 sulla base di una valutazione effettuata dal fornitore (Divulgando Srl), verificando navigazione da tastiera, contrasto, alternative testuali, struttura dei titoli e rispetto della preferenza “riduci movimento”. Sarà riesaminata a ogni aggiornamento rilevante del sito.
